I am a fisherman from Wisconsin that fished primarily Lake Wisconsin and learned early on what a great Walleye fishery it is. I have since moved on to different lakes finding out that not every Walleye body of water is created equal. I am fascinated by Walleye and the skill it takes to catch this elusive fish. This is one of the best times of the year to catch numbers of male Walleyes and some large female Walleyes in rivers. The Walleyes can be caught in different ways during this time from jig and minnows to plastics as well as crank baits.
